age 100, of Cook Springs, AL died on April 11, 2013 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents James Alfred and Emma Tubb Thompson Bourland; brother, Elmer Thompson; grandson, Lt. Colonel Ken Bourland and one great granddaughter. He is survived by his wife of 77 years, Reedy Meek Bourland; daughter, Dale Jordan (David); son, Dennis Bourland (Adrienne); 4 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 15, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Reverend Matthew Meadows is officiating. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville directing.
