Gene Brown

Dr. Gene F. Brown, age 85, of Trussville passed away on November 22, 2008. Gene was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Trussville and was very active in his church and community. He was a veteran of World War II, an avid golfer and had retired from American Cast Iron Pipe. Gene was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois Colleen Brown. He is survived by his three sons, Barry F. Brown (Charlotte), Garry L. Brown (Linda) and Dwight Brown; two grandchildren, Angela Davidson and Erik Brown; six great grandchildren, Austin, Cole, Alex, Mary Grace, Molly Brown and Hayden. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25 from 9:30 AM until 10:45AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 11AM in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bobby Irwin officiating.
