Gary Wood

Gary F. Wood, age 72 of Birmingham, AL passed away on January 28, 2016. He was a member of Roebuck Christian Church. He was a proud member of The Top Hatters from Woodlawn High School, truly a band of brothers loved by Gary and he was also a member of the Alabama Rangers. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He was a member of The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was survived by his wife Dianne "Dee" Wood; son, Chad Wood (Kim); daughter, Sunny Workman (Owen); grandchildren, Chase and Tanner Wood and Mia, Garrett, and Wren Palmer; nieces, Debbie Young and Ginger Abernathy; great nephew, Scott Young. Services will be on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Randy Smith will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
