Franklin Anderson

Franklin H. Anderson, age 90, of Birmingham, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. Mr. Anderson was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather and neighbor. He retired from Birmingham Transit after 46 years. He was a member of Berney Points Baptist Church and a former member of Vinesville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mariglen Anderson, parents R. O. and Malinda Anderson, sisters Mary Perdue, and Florrace Hunt. Services will be on Saturday, Jan 21, at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 12pm until 2pm Saturday. He is survived by his son Larry Anderson, grandchildren DeeDee Woodard (Brian) of Euless, TX, April Oneil (Shawn) of South Lake TX, and Rex Anderson of Birmingham, AL, great grandchildren Kelsey, Trevor, and Brenna Oneil, and Connor Woodard all of Texas, sister, Dorothy Grimmett, brother Howard Anderson, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
