Frankie Campbell

Frankie Maurene Swain Campbell, age 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 3, 2015. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband of 65 years, Reverend Joseph Wayne Campbell where they will spend eternity with each other. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Hattie Swain. She worked for many years with the Tarrant Board of Education as a teachers' aid. She was an active church worker and Sunday school teacher in the churches her husband pastored. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Moody, AL. She is survived by her children: Frank Campbell (Ruth), Kathy Garrett (Thomas), Joe Campbell (Ann) and Debbie Schmidt (Barney); ten grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville from 12pm until 2pm. The funeral service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel immediately follow visitation. Burial will follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial's adjoining cemetery. Dr. Joe Campbell and Dr. Brad Moseley will be officiating. A special "thank you" to the staff of the Village at Cooks Springs, St. Vincent East Hospital, St. Vincent Hospice Care and Optum Hospice Care. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the First Baptist Church of Moody, The American Cancer Society, or The American Diabetes Association.
