Frances Mabrey

Mrs. Frances Mabrey, 79, of Gardendale passed away on April 5, 2017. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, loved to cook, and watch Alabama football. Mrs. Mabrey was a generous church member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Tarrant, and most importantly she loved the Lord. She is preceded in death by her husband, Buddy F. Mabrey Sr., daughter, Teresa M. Walker, parents, Charles and Ada Pope, 1 sister, and 6 brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Shows, Buddy F. Mabrey Jr. (Wendy), Frances Taylor, and James Thomas Mabrey (April), 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 with a one hour visitation prior to the service with Reverend William Noe officiating. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville.
