Frances Lee

LEE, FRANCES, of Trussville, AL and formerly of Memphis, TN, age 87, died February 16, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dai Lee, brother, Tom Sing and sister, Anne Moy. She is survived by 3 sisters, -- Laura Jean Lee of Memphis, TN, Mary Jeu of Houston, TX, and Maymai (Geoffrey) Wilson of Calgary, Alberta, CA and numerous nieces and nephews, 3 daughters, -- Paula (Andy) Kemp of Gallant, AL; Linda (Kin) Lum of Trussville, AL; and Dr. Laura Lee (Robert Pollock) of Palm Springs, CA. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, -- Christina (Steve) Pescatore and Kevin (Tina), Michelle and Michael Lum who will miss their Mema very much. Mrs. Lee will be remembered most for her love and devotion to her husband, Dai Lee and her caring, and generous support of the Chinese community in Memphis, TN and the Trussville Senior Citizen's Center. Funeral Service will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be follow at Jefferson Memorial East in Trussville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hemophilia Factor IX Gene Therapy Program at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105, or Birmingham Humane Society.
