Frances Barnard

Frances Sherrill Barnard, February 3, 1931 to September 13, 2016, age 85, of Birmingham, AL, entered her heavenly home on September 13, 2016, with her family by her side. She was a graduate of Phillips High School and worked as a dental hygienist before becoming a mother. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church for 61 years, where she taught Sunday school and was a deaf interpreter. Many happy moments were her times playing Bridge and golf with friends. "Memo" as she was known to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren was always the life of the party. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, H. Boyd Barnard, daughter Janice Williams (Steve), grandchildren Rich Wells, Josh (Emily) Wells, Stephen (Keri) Wells, Robert (Brigid) Williams, Stephanie (Landon) Autry, great grandson, Brayden Wells, and great granddaughters Hannah Williams and Ryleigh Autry. There will be a chapel service Saturday at 10:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow on Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
