Forrest Simpkins

Forrest Edward "Eddie" Simpkins, age 65, of Cropwell, AL, passed away on December 30, 2022.  Celebration of life will be held at Pell City Municipal Complex banquet room, 1000 Bruce Etheredge Parkway on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 11am - 2pm.
He is survived by his brothers, Rusty Simpkins (Sandy), David Simpkins (Annie) and Joe Simpkins (Vanessa).
Eddie is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kelly Simpkins; sons, Zach Simpkins (Katie), Heath Bailey, Adam Bailey; daughter, Michelle McCoy; 4 grandchildren; Malia McCoy, Brooklyn Bailey, Faith Bailey and Layla Bailey and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was born in Newnan, GA on August 30, 1957 and grew up in Talladega, AL.  Eddie served in the Army with the 82nd Airborne Unit after high school.  He was also a Mason and Shriner for many years.  He worked in the carpentry/painting field for many years with his most recent employer, Alabama Professional Services.  Eddies hobbies included hunting, fishing, cooking and his garden.  He was always smiling and loved being with friends and family.
