Floyd Braxton Nail Iii

Mr. Floyd Braxton Nail III, 53, of Birmingham passed away on August 10, 2018. Braxton graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School where he lettered in baseball. He went on to coach high school football and basketball across the state, where he coached on state championship teams at Clay-Chalkville High School and Bessemer Academy. He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Braxton Nail Jr. He is survived by his children, Cliff Nail (Ashley), Matt Nail (Brittany), Brent Nail (Shane), and Rachel Riley; mother, Eunice Snow Nail; grandchildren, Tristan, Carson, and Nathan; and brother, Brad Nail. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The graveside service will begin at 1:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Reverend Roy Spears officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
