Floy Kennedy

Donnie Kennedy, age 57 a lifelong resident of Hueytown, AL passed away on October 15, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving and devoted Husband, Daddy, and Papa. He was employed with U.S. Pipe for 34 years. He was baptized at Vineland Park Baptist Church at the age of 13. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his precious grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Lynne McLean Kennedy; son, Kyle Kennedy and wife Julie; daughter, Alison Cantley and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Kylie, Kadyn, and Khloe Kennedy, Elijah, Vivian, and Jozef Cantley, and Baby Boy Kennedy due in January; parents, Floy D. "Bubba" Kennedy, Sr. and Jo Ann Kennedy; father-in-law, Ernest McLean; his grandmother, Octavia Pickens; brothers, Dennis Kennedy (Lisa) and David Kennedy (Amy); and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1-2pm at People's Chapel in Hueytown, AL. Service will follow at 2:00pm at People's Chapel. Burial will follow at Currie-Jefferson Memorial Gardens South in Hoover, AL.
