Montez Tedford age 85, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Dec. 17, 2013. She was a former member of Huffman Baptist Church and later became a member at 1st Baptist of Moody. She was the owner of Sun Valley Daycare Center for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Rogers. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Grady Tedford; her son, Stephen Tedford (Judy); her granddaughters: Angela Rogers, Jennifer Cone (John), Deanna Schrecongost (Matt), Jessica Weaver (Chad) and Teresa Keith (Chris) and five great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel on Friday, Dec. 20th. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverend Brad Mosley is officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
