Evon Mckee

Evon "Mac" McKee, age 88, of Trussville, passed away February 15, 2016. He was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville, a veteran of WWII with the US Navy and a former member of Model A Restorers Club (MARC). He was preceded in death by his son Terry Jonathan McKee, granddaughter Jennifer Murphree Burnett and sister, Mavanelle Jackson. Chapel services will be held on Friday, Feb 19 at 2pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Day McKee, children Janet McKee Murphree (Paul), Joy McKee Brewer (Lee), and Tim McKee (Tammy Smith), brothers Reaford Eugene McKee Sr. (Janelle), Harold Wayne Legg (Becky), grandchildren Jonathan Paul Murphree (Jayna), Christopher Lee Brewer (Bethany), Matthew Timothy Brewer (Leslie), great grandchildren Jon-Elyn Murphree, Ava James Burnett, Nora Ruth Brewer, his loving canine companion Opie and a host of other loving extended family.
