Evelyn Landrum

Evelyn S. Landrum, age 89, of Birmingham, currently residing in Cullman, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. Evelyn graduated from Lee College. She was an active member of St. John’s Evangelical Church which later became Brook Highland Community Church. She taught Sunday school classes and bible study classes. She also served in many leadership capacities at St. John’s. Evelyn was a very faithful follower of Christ as well as a devoted wife and mother. She was loved by many. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ben and her granddaughter, Jennifer Banks. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Means (Ray); son, Ben Landrum (Denise); grandchildren, Michelle Banks, Stephanie Heard (Jason), Ray Means III (Athena), Randy Means, Wayde Landrum; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin Crowe, Ben Crowe, Nicky Crowe, Alexis Means, Madison Calvert, Sawyer Means, RJ Means, Oakleigh Means, and Arlen Means. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville on Monday April 16, 2018 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm with a graveside service following at 12:00 pm in Jefferson Memorial’s cemetery.
