Evelyn Jernigan

Evelyn Faye Jernigan, age 84, of Birmingham, AL., passed away on February 14, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Leland Jernigan. She was born in Cullman, AL. to parents Roy and Lena Smith. She is a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters Bonnie Sides and Donna Jernigan. Grandchildren Ben Sides and Thomas Sides; and great grandchildren Alex Sides and Rowen Sides. She is also remembered by her siblings Irene McConnell, Louise Cunningham, Leldon Smith, and Curtis Smith. A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 15, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville at 3:00 PM. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers or plants please make a donation to The Bedford School of Fairburn, GA., St. John's United Methodist Church of Birmingham, or to your own church in memory of a loved one. Jefferson Memorial of Trussville will be directing.
