McIntyre, Eugene, age 98, of Cook Springs, AL, formerly of Trussville, AL, passed away December 26, 2011. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Etta Pate McIntyre. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors: daughter, Norma Jean Trice, of Newburgh, IN; sons, Ed (Gail) McIntyre of Trussville, AL; Jerry (Jean) McIntyre of Moss Point, MS; five grandchildren, Doug (Caroline) McIntyre, Cindy (Ronnie) Keeton, Vickie Leandro, Irl Trice, Holly Trice; five great-grandchildren, Mark Keeton, David (Holly) Keeton, Zach McIntyre, Mary McIntyre, Jessica Leandro; sisters-in-law, Gloria (John) Huskey, Carolyn S. Pate, Jennie Pate Turner, Carolyn M. Pate; and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of First Baptist Church Trussville and retired in Evansville, Indiana after more than 40 years of service in various locations with the CSX Railroad (formerly L&N). Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM followed by funeral services at 12:00 Noon from Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The Rev. Bobby Erwin officiating.
