RAY, ESTHER ARLENE LAYNE, age 101, of Ashville, passed away January 28, 2010. She was a member of Pinedale Bible Church. Services will be Saturday Jan 30, at 12pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 11am until 12pm Saturday. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Ray Mize, son James Coston Ray, sister Ruth Boyd, brother Charles Layne, grandchildren Kimberly Colvert, James Theron Ray, 6 great grandchildren.
