Ester Wood

Ester Lee Wood, age 88, of Birmingham, passed away on March 20, 2017. She was the owner of Lee's Flower World for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wood; her daughter, Tina Jones; her son, Benny Parr; her sisters, Jean Mayfield and Evelyn Estes. She is survived by her daughter, Tamye Holder (Richard); her granddaughter, Maria Lee Holder; her son-in-law, Wayne Jones; her sister, Eloise Williams; her nephew, Johnny Estes; and her nieces, Darlene Stoltz and Cynthia Creel. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 23, at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
