Imogene Hand

 Imogene Hand, age 98, passed away on August 8, 2023. She was born to Clifford and Effie Martin on September 19, 1924. Imogene was a lifetime member First United Methodist Church of Center Point and Ashville First Methodist Church. She was also a proud member of the Ladies Birmingham Hooking Club.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward M. Hand and son in law Jerry Scott.

Imogene leaves behind her children, Dedy McReynolds (Gary), Sue Scott, and Eddie Hand (Deniece). Grandchildren, Jeanie Velez (Hector), Steve McReynolds (Tracy), George Scott (Pam), Julie Gieker (Joe), Sarah Bridges (Bryan), Jeff Hand (Trish), Alan Bullock (Kristine), Lee Bullock (Suzie); great- grandchildren, Emily (Michael), Melissa (Carlos), Tracy (Ameer), Beau (Ashley), Reed, Nicole, Trent, Amber, Dylan, McKinley, Addie, Laurel, Mary Patton, Hudson, William, Ben, Bridget, Brenden, and Brooks; great-great- grandchildren, Lucas, Donavan, Briona, Darian, Jaida, Miyah, Jaxon, and Easton, Brock, Gavin, Braxton, Sienna.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ashville First Methodist Church or your favorite charity.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with a chapel service to immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.  A private burial for the family will follow.
