Emma Gilbert

Jayne Gilbert, age 92, of Birmingham, AL passed away February 8 , 2016. She was born on July 14, 1923 in Shelbyville, TN to the late William and Hattie Rittenberry. She was preceded in death by her sons Jerry Gilbert and Mike Gilbert. She is survived by husband of 68 years, Roy Gilbert, Daughter Janet Thompson (Jim), Daughter-in-law Brenda Kruse, Grandchildren - Cody Gilbert, Breanna Garcia (Moi), Lauren Craft (Michael), Great-grandchildren - Madison York, Noah and Ethan Garcia, William and Amelia Craft; brother, Claude Rittenberry. Parlor services will be on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 1 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to the services. Burial is at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
