Emery Ownes

Emery Star Owens, passed away at two months old in Talladega County on June 28, 2016. She was a member of Church of the Highlands. Emery was a fighter from the day she was born. She was full of life. She came into this world as "Mommy's best friend" and "Daddy's girl". In the short time we were blessed with her she loved to cuddle and smile. She loved her big brother and tummy time. Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2nd at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1st from 5:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. She is survived by her parents, Jarod and August Owens; brother, Sawyer Owens; grandparents, Starling Zackeous Fox, Jr., Sharon Pruitt, Joel and Cindi Owens, and Denise Maddox; great grandparents, James and Ann Pruitt, Vivian Gray, Regina and T.J. Owens; aunts and uncles: Sherry and Dustin Parker, Zack and Jenna Fox, Roy Smith, Windy Gazaway, David Owens, Jody and Sonya Payne, Danny Lee and Vivian Maddox; cousins: Bryant, Avery, Aiden, Sienna, Tessa, Logan, Shelby and Valerie.
