Eloise Mitchell

Mrs. Eloise Mitchell, 82, of Birmingham, AL passed away on November 4, 2016. She was born on November 25, 1933 to the late John and Ida Pike. She retired from the UAB School of Optometry and was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Mitchell. She is survived by her son, Ted M. Mitchell, daughters, Vicki Kracke and Carol Mitchell, sisters, Betty Jean Harbin of CA, Johnnie Powell of Montgomery, and Faye Martin (Mack) of Nauvoo, AL, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Reverend Larry Smith officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's of Central Alabama for South Highlands Center.
