Ellie Warren

Ellie S. Warren, 97, a Christian woman, went to be with Her Lord on Monday, March 28, 2016. Ellie was born in Blountsville and was a long time resident of Tarrant, AL. She was employed at Western Supermarket in Vestavia Hills for many years and retired from Piggly Wiggly in Crestline. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, O. B. Warren; and one son, Joe M. Warren, of Centerpoint, Al; her mother, Solema Littleton Self; her father, Robert Cleophas Self; 7 Siblings; Pauline Self Graves Gray, of Blountsville, Al; Lola Self Yates of Tarrant, Al; Ulma Self Nelson of Tarrant, Al; John Self of Tarrant, Al; Marvin Self of Keytona, Al; Arlena Self James of Tarrant, Al; Selma Self of Tarrant, Al; . She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Gale Warren Pate (Will) of Hoover; Juna Warren Cargo Sartino (Luke) of Centerpoint; eight grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville with Reverend James Files officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Chapel, Trussville on Monday one hour prior to the service.
