Ellen Armstrong

Ellen B. Armstrong, age 81, of Irondale, AL passed away on August 20, 2011. She was a member of South Roebuck Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Lance Armstrong; parents, Brooks and Eileen Buchanan; and brother, Jack Buchanan. She is survived by her husband, Grover Armstrong; son Brooks Armstrong (Debra); brother, Marvin Buchanan; grandchildren, Christopher Lee and Savanna Lynn Armstrong; great granddaughter, Reagan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 9:00-10:30am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham. Bro. Chris Crain will be officiating.
