Ella Watson Bain passed away to Heaven on April 21, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Gail. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray in 1998. Granny was born in Brewton Al. and moved to Trussville in 1937 when she married Ray "Pa" Bain. She lived the rest of her life in Trussville with the exception of the last several years when she lived with her daughter. She is survived by a daughter, Gail Bain Ginn and a son, Jerry Ray Bain (Jennifer). Granny is also survived by granddaughter, Rosemary Ginn Sawyer (Shane) great granddaughter, Saragrace and great grandson, Thomas; grandson, Bobby Ginn (Paras) great granddaughters, Rani and Karina; grandson, Jonathan W. Bain; grandson, Joshua T. Bain and great grandsons Kayden and Felix; and great granddaughter, Cora; sisters-in-law, Earline Bain and Ruby Watson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Trussville for over 70 years. She was a member of Rainbow Chasers Camping Club where she and Pa were able to visit all over the USA, Canada and Mexico. She was a charter member of the Trussville Senior Citizens Center and the Red Hat Society. Granny represented Trussville Senior Center in the Senior Ms. Jefferson County pageant. Even though she did not win the title she was voted Ms. Congeniality by the other contestants. Services will be led by Bobby Erwin, Minister to Senior Adults at First Baptist Church, Trussville. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 1 to 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will follow at 2 PM with a private family burial following.
