Elizabeth West

Elizabeth "Alene" Barnett West, 81, of Trussville, AL died Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services (1:00pm). Larry Smith will officiate. Mrs. West was preceded in death by her husband Roger Marshall West, owner of Parkway Dodge, Birmingham, AL, and Roger West Chevrolet, Winston-Salem, NC, also her parents Herbert and Eula Barnett. Mrs. West also owned Carriage Antiques, Birmingham, AL. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church, Birmingham, AL. While living in Winston-Salem, NC, she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Women on Mission (WOM) Bible study group. Mrs. West is survived by her sons Dave M. West, Gary V. West, both of Trussville, AL and Warren B. West, Cleveland NC, daughter in laws Delores McDuffie West, Dianne Boger West. Grandchildren: Jamie West, Jessica West, Scott West, Eric West (Steffanie) and Shannon West. Great grandchildren Skyler Felice, and Owen West. She is survived by one sister in law Elsie Jean West Bass and many other family members. Pallbearers will be Jerry Miller, Ron Crosson, Bill Ennis, Troye Cook, Charles Duquenmin and John Lyerly.
