Elizabeth Thompson

Elizabeth Ward Carroll Thompson, age 73, of Trussville, passed away April 19, 2014. Elizabeth was retired from the State of Florida Department of Corrections. Chapel services will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 10am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 9am until 10am Saturday. Love and appreciation to Doug, my husband of 52 years. My two wonderful sons, Michael Lee (and wife Cherie) of Titusville, FL, and Christopher Clay (fianceI�e Tina) of Trussville, AL. I love you all so much and am so proud of you, my brother, Ray Carroll, who always remembers the holidays. My extended family of cousins, Lilli, Dorothy and Bill, Joyce and Harry, Eddy and Betty Katherine. Oh thank you'all for the many holiday celebrations, laughs and yes, some tears too. We all know how important family is! Always meant so much to me! My many friends down through the years. 40 plus years, Joanna Musulman, William "Jeff" and Christy Hatfield, Betty Bassinger, Jackie Abney Carroll in B'ham. Many new friends and re-acquainting with old friends in the last few years. Mary Sue, Peggy and the Woodlawn High reunion breakfast bunch at Cracker Barrel. Trying to remember all the high school names and fun times. Several churches we belonged to down through the years of moving around.
