Elizabeth Pair

Elizabeth Bailey Pair, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on June 29, 2011. Mrs. Pair worked as a medical assistant at UAB for many years. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, but was previously a member of Hilldale Baptist Church for over 30 years. She graduated from Sylvania High School, class of 1950. Mrs. Pair was an excellent, loving wife and mother who put her family before herself. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the UAB Alzheimer's Disease Center for their dedication and hard work. Mrs. Pair is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Bailey, as well as by her parents, Clarence and Mary Bailey. She is survived by her loving husband, Hubert Pair; daughter, Karen Hale; son, Gary Pair (Susan); grandchildren, David Pair (Catherine) and Kayla Durawa; great-grandchild, Alexis Millenbaugh; as well as a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be from 12:30PM until 2:00PM, with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Brother Herman Pair will officiate the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
