Elizabeth Collins

Elizabeth M. Collins, age 94, of Trussville, originally from Leeds, passed away on October 15, 2019. She was a member of Trussville First United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Bessie Muir; her husband, Milford M. Collins, Sr.; and her son, Milford Mckinley Collins, Jr. She is survived by her children, John Samuel Collins (Deborah Irene Collins), Sue Collins Hopson (Mike Hopson), Teresa Collins Aldrich (Ronald Eugene Aldrich); her grandchildren, Kellie Irene Slaughter, Wendy Noel Gottfried, Autumn Rebecca Aldrich, Jonathan Stephen Aldrich, Ronald Alexander Aldrich, Rebecca Ann Hopson; her great-grandchildren, Myleigh Slaughter, Melaina Slaughter, Ryder Slaughter, Ruby Zellner, Rose Zellner, Mollie Zellner, Madison Gottfried, and Harper Gottfried. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 2pm in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
