Eleanor Norman

Eleanor Norman, age 78 of Trussville, AL passed away on December 27, 2010. In her younger years she volunteered for the Canadian Red Cross in Montreal, Canada. She was a member of Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality and she also helped with several Catholic Charities. She was a Pink Lady at St. Vincents East Hospital and she also volunteered for the Lions Club Eye Foundation and helped for meals for the homeless. She loved traveling the world and she volunteered for the Leper Colony. She was an Air Force widower. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Norman, USAF Retired. She is survived by her children, Tom Norman (Martha), Catherine Pelham (Shawn), and Tim Norman (Susie); grandchildren, David Norman, Hannah Norman, Jared Pelham, Elizabeth Pelham, and Jacob Carlisle; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 9 to 10AM at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 AM with burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Father Bill Lucas will be officiating over the service.
