Eleanor Turner Hardwick, age 86, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 7, 2018. Eleanor, and her twin sister, were born June 19, 1931 in Heflin, AL to James Roy Jefferson Turner and Catherine (Kate) Boman. Her sister did not survive; however, Eleanor left a legacy large enough for the both of them, she loved deeply and loved strong, as an angel on earth ministering to all who knew her. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roper Hardwick, and her much loved brothers and sister. She is survived by her daughters Kellie (Doyle) Dailey of Oneonta, AL and Kathy (Carmon) Love of Trussville, AL and her four grandchildren, Hannah (Tyler) Williams, James (Melissa) Dailey, Samuel Love, Allison Love, as well as multiple nieces and nephews. In 2017, she was blessed with a great granddaughter who she cherished dearly, Noa Jane Dailey. Eleanor graduated from Heflin High School and worked at Cole Motor Company and then Buster Miles Motor Company. Later, after marriage and moving to Birmingham, she worked as a bookkeeper for 34 years at Kurt's Truck and Parts. She joined St Paul's United Methodist Church in 1966 and was a dedicated servant until 2005 when she joined Trussville United Methodist. Please join us in remembering the life of Eleanor Hardwick at the visitation to will be held Saturday March 10th from 5 to 7 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, AL. The worship service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 Sunday March 11th at Trussville United Methodist Church on North Chalkville Road Trussville, AL. In lieu of flowers she had requested that donations be made to her beloved church, Trussville United Methodist Church, 120 North Chalkville Road
