Elaine Lowe

Elaine F. Lowe, age 83 of Birmingham, AL passed away on April 23, 2016. Her husband of 52 years, Gerald K. Lowe, Sr. passed away on July 18, 2015. Elaine is survived by her son, Kenny (Christy) and daughter, Roxanne (Gary); 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sister, Sue Walker of Berlin, PA. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Clay, AL. She was employed by Rust Engineering, AFLAC Insurance and Party City. She is said "to be the greatest mother of all time" and be "stronger than nails". A memorial service will be held on May 7, 2016 at 2 PM at Faith Lutheran Church, 6704 Deerfoot Parkway, Clay, AL. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to Faith Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 427, Clay, AL 35048.
