Edwin Farrar Camp, Jr., age 67, passed away on April 1, 2016. A native of Birmingham, he was married to the love of his life, Sheryl Ann Beasley, for 46 years. The couple resided in the Clay-Trussville area. He was a member of the 117th Air Refueling Wing for over 37 years. He was a founding member of the Alabama Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation. He also was a member of the St. Clair Camp 308 Sons of Confederate Veterans for 12 years. He and Sheryl spent many happy years traveling in their camper in the mountains of Tennessee. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Ashley (Susan) and Brian (Jamie), two beloved grandsons, Clayton and Nicholas. Visitation will be on Monday, April 4, 2016 from 2 to 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services to follow at 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. The family request in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to the American Chestnut Foundation, Asheville North Carolina. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
