Edna Weinberg

d. March 8, 2015

Edna Earle (EE) Kilgore Weinberg passed away from this world and went to her eternal home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Jerome B. Weinberg and her parents Connie Amerine Koutsoukous of Birmingham and Dave Kilgore of Atlanta. She is survived by her children, Jerome Weinberg, Jr., Rick Weinberg, Cindy Russo (Sammy) and Nancy Gilmore (Marvin); her grandchildren, Adam Gilmore, Austin Gilmore, Jonathan Russo and Forrest Taylor; her sister and brother in law Martha Weinberg Crump and Reverend Ray Crump of Decatur, AL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edna Earle was born in Birmingham, Alabama where she has lived her entire life. She was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, where she was involved in Sunday School, children's programs, and for almost 20 years she was the "lady behind the desk" at Corky Bell Dance Studio. She was a dedicated mother, an original fashionista, a huge Elvis fan and a rabid Auburn Fan. We love you and will miss you. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 11-12pm at Jefferson Memorial Trussville, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
