Edna Stewart

Mrs. Olene Stewart, 85, of Hayden, AL passed away on April 8, 2017. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Auburn University and worked as a high school teacher. Mrs. Stewart was a member of First Baptist Church of Hayden and loved to sew, watch Auburn football, and most importantly, she loved her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, George Stewart, daughter, Janeth Stewart, parents, Grady and Lula Belle Lovvorn, and two brothers. She is survived by her children, Karen Moore (Jerry), Gary Stewart (Diane), Bruce Stewart, and Vicki Sewell (Chris), 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and sister, Marzell Howse. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The graveside will immediately follow at 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
