Edith Goodner

Mrs. Edith Ryan Goodner, 91, of Highland Lake, AL passed away on November 5, 2016. She was born on May 8, 1925 to the late Baxter and Bertie Ryan. Mrs. Goodner was a member of the SDA Church and was a loving wife and a generous and loving mother to her children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Wade Goodner, son, Richard Wade Goodner, and brothers, Clyde Ryan, Calvin Ryan, Glynn Ryan, and Martin Ryan. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Goodner Santamour, grandchildren, Zachary Goodner, Lucas Goodner, Krista G. Carter, Paul Goodner, Jacob Lemley, and Alexander Guzinsky, sister, Betty Bullard, and brother, Charles Ryan. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville with Reverend Doyle Bullard officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The American Cancer Society.
