Edgar Clower, Jr.

Edgar T. Clower, Jr., age 86, of Vestavia Hills, passed away on September 8, 2020. He was a member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and served in the US Military. He was an avid Auburn fan, having graduated from Auburn University and was a proud member of the Golden Eagle Club. Ed was Operations Manager with Weathertech (Carrier) with 38 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar T. and Lula Mae Clower; and his sister, Joyce Pilkinton. He is survived by his wife, Diane Stephens Clower; his children, Leslie D. Self (John), Thomas E. Clower, and Michael “Tim” Clower (Carmen); and his granddaughters, Carrie A. Clower and Amanda M. Clower. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11, at 12pm at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vestavia Hills UMC or to the Alabama Parkinson’s Association.
