Earline Montgomery

Earline Rice Montgomery, 89, a resident of Alabaster, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2017. Earline was born December 4, 1927, in Blount Springs. Preceding Earline in death were her husband Lucius S. Montgomery, Jr.; parents William and Grace Rice; four sisters: Lillian Jones, Mattie Ruth Wear (S.E.), Mildred Hanes (James), and Lucille Wear (Harry); and brother James C. Rice (Sarah). Survivors who will miss her are her nieces: Julia W. Harris, Shirley H. Carson, and Patricia H. Rodgers (Jim); nephews: Robert C. Jones (Billie), Garrett H. Williams (Jan), and Craig N. Rice (Dianne), along with many great nieces, great nephews, and wonderful friends and neighbors. Earline has been a member for many years of Alabaster First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 1pm to 2pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 2pm from the funeral home chapel, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
