Dorothy Simmons

Dorothy Louise Simmons, age 85 of Trussville, AL passed away on September 12, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Simmons, daughter, Cathy Lynnette Kennemore and granddaughter, Shelly Ables Tillery. She is survived by her children, Vickie Cobb Holland (Doug) and Terry Allen Simmons (Gina); sisters, Margaret Fredrick and Patsy Pendergrass (Jimmy); brothers, Curtis Smitherman (Jewel) and Kenneth Smitherman (Cathy); 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Services will be on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
