Dorothy Jean Nichols Loudon, 93, of Center Point, AL went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 7th, 2020. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10th at 12:00 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 12:00 with visitation one-hour prior at 11:00 a.m. Jean is survived by two daughters, Joyce Speer (Frank) Hinton of Otto, NC and Janet (Will) Stamps of Blountsville, AL. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Ronald, their daughter, Jessie E. Parkerson, grandson Mark Speer, her two brothers Lod and R.C. and her parents. Jean was born March 14th, 1927 in Columbia, MO to Lod Sr. and Daisy (Campbell) Nichols. She was united in marriage to Ronald Jesse Loudon on January 7th, 1945 in Columbia, MO. Jean was a dedicated Navy wife of 23 years of service following Ronald’s Navy travels living in 46 states and Guam. She was a homemaker and mother of three daughters. She loved music, flowers and laughter. She will forever be remembered for her love for all who knew her and her laughter. She loved going places with her daughters, anytime.
