CASE, DOROTHY "DOT" VIOLA

age 79 of Trussville, AL passed away at 7:50 AM on May 3, 2013. Dorothy passed away peacefully at her home with her family and friends by her side. She was born January 24, 1934 in Kimball, TN as the daughter of Katherine Morrison. Dorothy worked for Jefferson County's School system for 34 years before she retired in 2002. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 56 years, James T. Case; sons, Drake and Larry Pelham and Terry Case; her sisters, Dean Crowley and Faye Lockhart; eight grandchildren: Jamie, Christie, Brian, Randall, Shannon, Brandon, Drayton and Chelsea; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Cam Morrison; daughter, Deborah Lynn Case; sister, Barbara Cline and niece, Kathy Dove. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Monday, May 6, 2013 from 5PM-7PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jamie, Brian, and Randall Pelham, Brandon Case, Justin McBrayer and Steve Crowley. Arrangements are being handled by Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL.
