Doris Isley

Doris Jean Isley, 86, of McCalla, AL., passed away on September 14, 2014. She was a long time member of Lake Highland Baptist Church. She worked as an accountant for over 30 years and was a past Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Raymond J. Isley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: daughters, Patricia Elizabeth Snipes, Mary Ann Isley, Kathryn Lee Wilson and Debra Lynn Herrera. Grandchildren; Kellye Jean Talley, William K. Bradshaw, III., Cory Drew Caplan, Kimberley Lynn Herrera, Raymond Justin Bradshaw, Matthew Aaron Caplan, Jonathan Lee Snipes, Kynna Leigh Herrera, Elizabeth Ann Caplan and Kendrick Manuel Herrera. Her services will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 visitation starting at 1:00pm and Chapel Service to begin at 2:00pm, with burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. Ken Daniels will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to her church Lake Highland Baptist Church, 508 82nd Street N. Birmingham, Al. 35206.
