Doris Turner

Doris Beddingfield Turner, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior February 1, 2022, in Lenexa, Kansas.  She was born November 12, 1929, in Meridian, MS.  She was married to the love of her life, William Allen “Bill” Turner, Sr. and lived in Birmingham where they raised their family.

Doris was a member of Huffman Baptist Church in Birmingham and First Baptist Church Biloxi.   She loved The Lord and lived her life by example.    She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Turner, father, Horace V. Beddingfield Sr. , mother, Mattie “Betty” Carter and loving step father, Victor Carter.

Doris is survived by her son, William Allen Turner, II (Debra) and daughter, Danese Turner Daniel (John), brother Horace V. Beddingfield, Jr.  (Carole).  Her treasure on this earth was being “Grams” to granddaughters, Lindsey Granberry and Bryna Hanley, as well as, bonus grandsons, Justin Daniel (Catie), Jacob Daniel (Trisha), Joseph Daniel and great-grandchildren Marion, Jude, Olivia, Theo, Benjamin, Eisley and many special friends.

Grams was loved and will be missed by anyone who ever knew her.
