Doris Bynum

Doris Earnestine Bynum passed away on December 31st, 2022. She was born June 16, 1931 in Birmingham AL. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Oscar L Bynum.

She received her associate Degree from Central Wesleyan College and attended First Wesleyan Church currently known as Brookview Church. She was active in Church throughout her life and participated in Choir, leading Children's Programs, teaching Sunday School, and encouraged others through a Card Ministry.

She was the Head Secretary at Hewitt Elementary School in Trussville, AL for 30 years where she started as an Aide.

She loved children and served with her husband as Foster Parents. She loved homemade strawberry ice cream, watching shows like The Little House on the Prairie, and especially the Hallmark Channel. She loved reading her Bible and enjoyed family most of all. She is survived by a daughter, Robin B Haririan, husband Kara Haririan, two grandchildren, three living sisters- Elizabeth Evangeline, Rosalyn June, and Carolyn Josephine, and two deceased sisters- Margaret Geraldine, and Naomi Eloise, and many Nephews and Nieces.
