Donna Leah Brown, wife to Nauvelle Ward Brown, Jr., entered the gates of Heaven on April 16th, 2024 after courageously battling cancer for two years. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her loved ones who will continue to honour her sweet memory. Born on September 17th, 1953, a birthday shared by her cherished husband, “Nonna” was a woman who sought to show that we must learn to love one another just as God himself would. She is survived by her husband, “Brownie”, her two sons, Travis Wayne and Clinton Joseph Brown, and her daughter, Rachel Leah Brown Huling. Her son-in-law, Chase Huling, and her daughter-in-law, Amy Brown, are forever memorialized as Donna’s children. She has been blessed with six grandchildren, whom she “loved to pieces”: Kaylee Elizabeth Brown Parrott (Scott), Barrett Coleman Brown (Ella), Kinsey Rae Brown Logan (Michael), Rebekah Leah Brown, Grayson Pratt Huling, and Myles Parker Huling. She also adored her two great-granddaughters: Truly Grace Parrott, and Azilee Faith Parrott. Donna continues to be well-loved by her siblings: Rodney Cosby (Lynn), Bill Cosby, Wanda Edwards (Don), Terri Jett, and Lisa Clouse (Gary). Mrs. Brown’s visitation and graveside service will take place on Monday, April 22nd, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Her son, Travis W. Brown, will be officiating. We greatly encourage those who knew and adored her to be in attendance.
“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes; because for those who love with heart and soul, there is no such thing as separation."
