Donald Hester

On Thursday February 4, 2021, Donald Ray Hester, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 84. Donald was born August 19, 1936 in Etowah county to Fate and Maggie Elizabeth Hester.
Donald was a longtime employee of Rast Construction where he drove a tractor trailer hauling heavy equipment.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Hester, two children Donald Barry Hester (Christy Fox) and Elizabeth Hester, three grandchildren Forrest Hester (Jody), Barry Alexander Hester and Taylor Elise Turner and three great grandchildren Alana, Cian and Tanner Hester.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday February 9, 2021 at Jefferson Memorial funeral home. Visitation will be from 2-3pm with graveside service to follow.
