Donald George

Donald George, passed away November 9, 2008 at the age of 83. He served in the Navy during WWII, was born and lived his entire life in Irondale. He was retired from the Birmingham Water Works after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his grandsons Josh Jackson, and Jesse Karimpour. Services will be Wednesday Nov. 12, at Noon in the Chapel with burial in Forest Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 until Noon Wednesday. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Wilma "Billie" George, sisters Margaret Johnson, Joyce Wise, children Jimmy, Danny (Pam), Greg, Donna Crowson (J.D.), Rene Underwood (Doug), 9 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
