Donald Cockrell

Dr. Donald F. Cockrell Jr., of McCalla, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away on March 3, 2010 at the age of 74. Dr. Cockrell attended The University of Oklahoma and was a graduate of The University of Alabama Dental School. He retired from American Cast Iron and Pipe Company dental department. Survivors include his loving wife, Jackie; son, Steven Cockrell and wife Hope and daughter, Susanne Broughton and husband Randy; one sister, Tempe Brown of South Carolina; and three grandchildren, Kala and Sydney Cockrell and Ashton Broughton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 6 beginning at 1:30 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Chapel services beginning at 2:00 PM with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
