Dolores Jazwinski

Dolores Clark Jazwinski, age 84 of Bham. AL, passed away in her home on November 8, 2014, surrounded by her four children & dear friends. Dolores was born on June 30, 1930 in Birmingham, AL. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Dolores thoroughly enjoyed gardening and was very involved in her church. She served as past President of St. Anne's Band, Treasurer of the Ladies Auxiliary, Head of Burse Club, Senior Bingo and also Bereavement Committee. She also volunteered for more than 20 years in the Bingo kitchen and Eucharistic minister in church and for the homebound. She is preceded in death by: her parents George and Marguerite Steele, Helen Marie Covington (sister), Charles Clark (husband), and Arthur Jazwinski (husband). She is survived by her four children, Nanette Chancellor (Derek), Paulette Clements (Sid), Charlette McDaniel (Keith), Rick Clark, Dorothy Ann Prestridge (sister), 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangement: Monday, Nov. 10: visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. at Jefferson Memorial, 1591 Gadsden Highway, Birmingham, AL 35235. Tuesday, Nov. 11, visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am, mass @ 10:30 at Our Lady of Lourdes followed by graveside services at Jefferson Memorial. Our family wishes to express sincere appreciation to the staff of Optum Hospice Care for living up to their motto "Be Excellent Everyday" and enabling us to care for our mom in her home.
