Dewey Lovell

Dewey Edward Lovell, age 87 of Leeds, AL passed away on October 3, 2011. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Leeds, AL. He previously live in Rose Hill. After retirement he helped many people who needed assistance. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandsons, Michael and David Lovell and three of his brothers. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lois Lovell; daughter, Nelda Barnes; sons, Don Lovell (Nancy) and Mike Lovell (Pat); sisters, Elsie Kelley and Janie Brown; brother, Frank Lovell; grandchildren, Steve and Kathy Barnes, John, Holly and Kevin Lovell; 6 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be an hour prior to services at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Ray McKinnon will be officiating over the services. The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers for Mr. and Mrs. Lovell. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
